This is a Personal Development program for cooks and chefs looking to explore new cultures and cuisines. You will need at least 2 years of proven professional experience within a working kitchen crew and have a clean criminal and mental health background. 

THIS PROGRAM IS NOT FOR EVERYONE - the admissions committee determines suitability to the program. 

In order to keep the tuition low and offer full board, studies, tours, and extras, only suitable candidates will be considered and we require that participants meet the requirement of 140 internship hours each month at the hotels.  We expect you to be responsible, self-motivated, and arrive on time for your shifts at the hotels and to classes. 

TLV Culinary Application process

Step 1: Fill in the Application form and pay the application processing fee of $250.

Step 2: Undergo interview either face-to-face or over Zoom, Skype or similar web-meeting. 

Step 3:  If you do not pass the interview, the application fee will be refunded.

If you do pass the interview, you will be emailed additional forms (medical insurance declaration, program contract, accommodation rules, etc) to sign and you can proceed to pay the outstanding balance for the program ($1,750 tuition and $300 apartment deposit). Step 4: ACCEPTED! We will send you the acceptance letter and relevant documents.

With your acceptance letters, contact your local Israeli embassy to apply for the student visa, set a student visa appointment date, and book your flight tickets!

Step 5: Send us a scan of your visa and get packing!
